I had very high fever at first but not enough to get me admitted. It was when my fever broke that I had myself admitted… because I was hungry. I couldn’t keep my food down and I wanted to eat. Anyone who knows me knows that if I could just erase the word “hunger” from my vocabulary, I’d be one very happy woman. Anyway, that’s when they found out that my platelets were VERY low. Dangerously low. Here are some crappy phone pics:
